Former Call of Duty Development Director Establishes BulletFarm

After leaving Activision Blizzard, David Vonderhaar established a new game studio BulletFarm on March 8, 2023. Vonderhaar served as the development director of the Call of Duty series for 13 years and participated in the development of many series works, including Call of Duty: Black Ops, Call of Duty: World War II, and Call of Duty: Vanguard.

BulletFarm to Release FPS New Works

BulletFarm is developing a new FPS game that plans to compete with Call of Duty. Vonderhaar said that the new work will be a "player-centered" game that will provide "a more fun and respectful gaming experience."

BulletFarm's Goals

Vonderhaar said that BulletFarm's goal is to create an FPS game that allows players to feel the fun and respect. He hopes to reduce some of the shortcomings of the past when he was at Activision Blizzard, such as overtime work.

BulletFarm's Advantages

Since BulletFarm's development team is smaller, it can have more influence on the game. Vonderhaar said that this will allow BulletFarm to make decisions faster and adapt to player feedback more flexibly.

Future Outlook

The first FPS new work of BulletFarm is still in the early development stage, and the specific release date has not been announced. Vonderhaar said that he hopes the game can be released before 2025.
